Agness Waggay is a strong and resilient woman from her community. After losing her husband 11 years ago, she was left alone to take care of their three children. Facing abandonment from her husband's family, Agness showed her strength of character by starting her own small business selling food at night. Through her late-night "fry fry" endeavor, she has sustained and supported her family through difficult times. Agness' dedication and hard work have allowed her to put her children through school already, she has two children in college. Despite facing immense challenges as a widow, Agness has not let grief overcome her.
In addition to taking care of her family, Agness is a pillar of support for others in her community. She has taken on a leadership role, organizing and helping her fellow widows.
